What were your strategies?
The strategy that was most useful to me was to write or sketch any idea that seemed useful or that had potential.
Experimenting with ideas by having as many shots as possible, not having in mind the result.
An initial idea can turned into something completely different, but it’s also important to gradually change directions, and have patience.
What could be better?
Time managing is the best way I can improve my work.
Revising work before submitting.
How can this be improved?
Giving myself deadlines, is the best way to improve the finish product.
Asking other to revise work for me, because we all can omit obvious mistakes.
How do you go about making your art?
I rely heavily in social and political aspects. I observe and question everything. When I feel that an idea can turn into a potential conceptual art piece I elaborate from that point. I like to make the viewer aware, I’m not interested in my art to entertain or to please or for it to be eerie, I’m conscious that my art can provoke any of the above, but my interest is primarily social awareness. (to make the viewer think)
I always construct my work from a conceptual idea, and subsequently I think of a creative way of transmitting that into an art piece.
